Product Overview and Introduction

Own a timeless classic of European military and law enforcement history with the Star Model B 9mm Luger Semi-Automatic Pistol. Manufactured by the legendary Bonifacio Echeverría S.A. in Eibar, Spain, the Model B is one of the most famous and successful pistols to emerge from the Spanish Basque country. Heavily inspired by the iconic 1911 pattern—featuring a similar grip angle, manual thumb safety, and sleek profile—the Model B served as a trusted sidearm for the Spanish military, civil guard, and various international police forces throughout the mid-20th century.

Chambered in the ubiquitous 9mm Luger (9x19mm NATO) cartridge, this all-steel service pistol combines traditional single-action handling with the flat-shooting performance of the world’s most popular 9mm round.

1911-Inspired Ergonomics and All-Steel Build

The Star Model B is celebrated for its graceful lines, exceptional pointing characteristics, and rock-solid metallurgy:

• Classic 5-Inch Barrel: Provides a generous sight radius, excellent muzzle velocity, and inherent match-grade accuracy for target shooting and tactical training.

• Robust All-Steel Construction: Forged from solid steel components, delivering a heavy, stable feel in the hand that absorbs recoil effortlessly and ensures multi-generational durability.

• 1911-Style Control Layout: Outfitted with a familiar thumb safety and slide stop placement, making it instinctive for shooters accustomed to traditional single-action platforms.

• Traditional Single-Action Trigger: Delivers a crisp, clean break that promotes precise, accurate shot placement.

Service Heritage and Collector Prestige

During World War II and the post-war era, Star pistols were widely exported and utilized globally due to their high manufacturing standards and reliable performance. Surviving examples of the Model B represent a golden age of European firearm craftsmanship, making them prized showpieces for military surplus collectors and dependable range companions for classic handgun enthusiasts.
