Product Overview and Introduction

Experience the gold standard of full-sized European service sidearms with the Star Model BS 9mm Luger Semi-Automatic Pistol. Manufactured by the legendary Bonifacio Echeverría S.A. in Eibar, Spain, the Model BS was engineered to meet the rigorous demands of military forces and law enforcement agencies. Combining the robust mechanical enhancements of the “Super” series—such as the innovative linkless barrel system—with a classic, full-length 5-inch slide and frame, the Model BS delivers exceptional target performance and legendary durability.

Chambered in the ubiquitous 9mm Luger (9x19mm NATO) cartridge, this heavy-duty all-steel pistol features 1911-inspired single-action ergonomics, making it an absolute must-have for surplus collectors and classic handgun enthusiasts.

Full-Size Performance and Linkless Reliability

The Star Model BS is celebrated for its superb balance, over-engineered metallurgy, and refined mechanical layout:

• Full-Size 5-Inch Barrel: Provides an extended sight radius, optimized bullet ballistics, and inherent match-grade accuracy for precision range work.

• Advanced Linkless Locking System: Features a cam slot design (derived from the Super series) that improves reliability, ensures smooth lockup, and simplifies field stripping compared to traditional linked designs.

• Robust All-Steel Construction: Forged from solid steel components, delivering a heavy, stable feel in the hand that absorbs recoil effortlessly and ensures multi-generational longevity.

• Traditional Single-Action Trigger: Outfitted with a crisp single-action pull, familiar thumb safety, and positive extraction for consistent performance.

Service Heritage and Collector Appeal

Star pistols earned a worldwide reputation for producing some of the toughest, most reliable handguns of the 20th century.
