Product Overview and Introduction

Experience the cutting-edge evolution of the legendary Austrian bullpup platform with the Steyr Arms AUG A3 M2 NATO Semi-Automatic Rifle in durable Mannox Black. Blending decades of military-proven reliability with modernized tactical features, the M2 NATO variant brings ultimate modularity and universal magazine compatibility to the iconic AUG architecture.

Chambered in 5.56x45mm NATO, this rifle features the specialized NATO stock configuration designed to accept standard AR-15 / STANAG magazines, giving shooters seamless gear integration and effortless ammunition sharing.

M2 Rail Upgrades and NATO Magazine Versatility

The M2 configuration elevates the traditional bullpup design with enhanced optics mounting platforms and premium factory hardware:

• AR-15 / STANAG Magazine Integration: Equipped with the specialized NATO stock, allowing you to run universally available aluminum and polymer AR-15 magazines rather than proprietary AUG mags.

• Extended Picatinny Top Rail: Provides a rigid, extended mounting surface for low-power variable optics (LPVOs), red dots, magnifiers, or thermal systems with optimal eye relief.

• Mannox Black Finish: Features Steyr’s proprietary, ultra-tough Mannox corrosion-resistant finish on the metal components, paired with a rugged black polymer stock.

• Cross-Bolt Safety & QD Sling Swivel: Designed with intuitive cross-bolt safety mechanics and integrated Quick-Detach (QD) sling swivels for rapid sling attachment and maneuverability.

• Quick-Change Barrel System: Retains the legendary tool-less 16-inch cold hammer-forged barrel removal capability for effortless cleaning, maintenance, and compact transport.

The Ultimate Practical Bullpup

By positioning the action and magazine well behind the trigger group, the AUG packs a full 16-inch rifle barrel into an overall length comparable to a short-barreled carbine. The combination of unmatched indoor/vehicle maneuverability, STANAG mag compatibility, and the refined M2 rail system makes this rifle a top-tier choice for defense, competition, and tactical training.
