Product Overview and Introduction

Own a masterpiece of rugged Spanish military engineering with the Star Model 28 PK 9mm Luger Semi-Automatic Pistol. Produced by the renowned Bonifacio Echeverría S.A. (Star) factory in Eibar, Spain, the Model 28 was engineered to serve as a frontline sidearm for Spanish armed forces and law enforcement agencies. Known for its robust weight, ergonomic contours, and exceptional mechanical reliability, the Model 28 bridged the gap between classic mid-century service pistols and modern high-capacity sidearms.

Chambered in the ubiquitous 9mm Luger (9x19mm NATO) cartridge, this surplus-style service pistol delivers solid handling, manageable recoil, and historical pedigree that appeals to both military collectors and classic handgun enthusiasts.

Heavy-Duty All-Steel Construction and Ergonomics

The Star Model 28 PK is celebrated for its substantial build quality and thoughtful design features inspired by legendary Browning-style lockups:

• Robust All-Steel Build: Crafted from solid steel components, providing exceptional durability and a heavy, stable feel that tames 9mm recoil for rapid, accurate follow-up shots.

• 3.86-Inch Barrel: An ideal compact-service length that balances comfortable carry with optimal ballistic velocity and accuracy.

• Ergonomic Grip Design: Features contoured grip frames designed to comfortably fit a wide variety of hand sizes, ensuring a secure and natural shooting hold.

Service Heritage and Collector Appeal

Adopted by official state security forces, Star pistols earned a global reputation for high-grade metallurgy and reliable function under adverse conditions. Surviving examples of the Model 28 PK represent a fascinating era of European Cold War defense production, making them prized additions to any military surplus or handgun collection.
