Product Overview and Introduction

Achieve ultimate precision and versatility in your muzzleloading setup with the American Pioneer Jim Shockey’s Gold 50-Caliber 50-Grain Sticks (100-Pack). Developed in partnership with world-renowned hunter Jim Shockey, these pre-formed propellant sticks offer unmatched flexibility, allowing you to custom-configure your powder charge for everything from light-recoil target practice to heavy-hitting big game hunting.

Say goodbye to messy powder flasks, loose granules, and inconsistent volumetric measuring. These compressed 50-grain sticks give you complete control over your grain weight—use a single stick for close-range accuracy or combine multiple sticks to match your rifle manufacturer’s recommended magnum loads.

Endorsed by Jim Shockey for Superior Versatility

Built to meet the exacting standards of professional hunters, Jim Shockey’s Gold delivers exceptional reliability and consistent ballistics in the field. The 50-grain increment design provides unmatched adaptability across different hunting seasons and game sizes:

• Light & Manageable Loads: Perfect for target practice, youth training, or close-range small game tracking.

• Custom Magnum Configurations: Stack two or three sticks to create tailored 100-grain or 150-grain equivalent charges for long-range big game hunting.

• Uniform Ballistics: Precision manufacturing ensures every stick burns at a consistent rate for tighter downrange groupings.

Clean-Burning, Sulfurless Formula

Traditional black powder and low-grade substitutes leave behind heavy, corrosive fouling and a strong sulfur odor. American Pioneer utilizes an advanced sulfurless chemical composition that revolutionizes your shooting experience:

• Non-Corrosive Protection: Safeguards your rifle’s bore, rifling, and breech plug from rust, pitting, and long-term degradation.

• Minimal Fouling: Drastically reduces barrel residue, allowing for reliable follow-up shots without jamming or seating friction.

• Odorless Comfort: Completely eliminates the pungent “rotten egg” sulfur smell typical of vintage propellants.

Effortless Water-Soluble Cleanup

Cleaning up after a high-volume range session or a successful hunt shouldn’t feel like a chore. Because Jim Shockey’s Gold is 100% water-soluble, post-shoot maintenance is remarkably fast and easy. You do not need harsh, toxic chemical solvents. A simple patch dampened with ordinary tap water completely dissolves and removes all remaining residue, returning your barrel to a factory-clean finish in minutes.
