Product Overview and Introduction

Maximize your clay-breaking consistency and keep your shotgun action remarkably clean with Alliant Clay Dot Smokeless Gun Powder. Engineered specifically to meet the high-volume performance demands of trap, skeet, and sporting clays shooters, Clay Dot delivers exceptionally soft recoil, uniform pattern densities, and clean combustion shot after shot.

Whether you are loading standard 12-gauge 1-ounce or 1-1/8-ounce target payloads for weekend league competition or high-volume club shooting, Clay Dot provides the predictable ignition and reliability required by serious competitive shotgunners.

Clean-Burning Technology and Low-Recoil Performance

Alliant Powder designed Clay Dot to provide an ultra-clean shooting experience while maintaining strict velocity and pressure consistency:

• Ultra-Clean Combustion: Leaves significantly less carbon residue and powder fouling in shotgun actions, chambers, and bores compared to traditional propellants, extending intervals between deep cleanings.

• Soft Recoil Characteristics: Formulated to deliver smooth, manageable pressure profiles that reduce fatigue during long, multi-round tournament days.

• Uniform Flake Geometry: Specially cut flake morphology ensures smooth, consistent flow through volumetric powder measures and bushing drops, minimizing charge weight variance.

• Optimized for 12-Gauge Target Loads: Tailored burn rate specifically matches the requirements of standard target shotshell applications, delivering excellent pattern uniformity.

The Professional Choice for Clay Target Competitors

In competitive shotgun sports, low standard deviations and clean-running actions mean the difference between a podium finish and a missed bird. Clay Dot combines reliable ignition with exceptional cleanliness, making it a favorite on fields across the country.
