Product Overview and Introduction

Experience authentic power, precision, and traditional performance with the Schuetzen Wano 2FA (FFg) Black Powder (1-lb Canister). Produced through the collaborative European manufacturing expertise of Schuetzen and Wano, this premium black powder is engineered specifically for full-sized muzzleloading rifles, muskets, and larger-caliber hunting firearms requiring a progressive, controlled burn rate.

As a trusted choice among historical shooters, hunters, and competitive marksmen, Wano 2FA delivers exceptional velocity consistency, dependable ignition, and true historical reliability. Whether you are preparing for hunting season or target shooting at the range, Wano 2FA ensures optimal energy transfer and accuracy.

Medium 2FA (FFg) Granulation and Performance Advantages

The 2FA (FFg) granulation features medium-sized individual granules that provide a controlled, progressive burn curve compared to finer pistol powders. This particle size is universally favored for:

• Large-Caliber Rifles: Delivers a smooth, progressive pressure curve designed to efficiently accelerate 50-caliber and larger projectiles downrange with stability.

• Muskets and Shotguns: Ensures complete combustion and maximum energy transfer in larger-bore barrels for dense shot patterns and reliable ballistics.

• Custom Volumetric Measurement: Allows handloaders to precisely meter grain charges using standard black powder measures for tailored hunting or target loads.

Premium European Manufacturing and Consistency

Schuetzen Wano powder is crafted using top-grade ingredients, ensuring minimal ash residue and uniform flame propagation. Every batch is carefully granulated and screened to provide fast, dependable ignition across diverse weather conditions, giving you confidence during every shoot.

Proper Maintenance and Safety Note

Unlike modern sulfurless synthetic substitutes, authentic black powder contains sulfur and potassium nitrate, meaning it produces traditional fouling and is corrosive.

• Post-Shot Cleaning: Immediate cleaning with warm soapy water or specialized black powder solvent is required after shooting to remove corrosive residue and protect your barrel rifling from pitting and rust.

• Safe Handling: Always follow strict safety guidelines regarding black powder storage, static prevention, and proper volumetric loading procedures.
