Product Overview and Introduction

Note: While frequently grouped with smokeless-style performance due to its ultra-clean burn and absence of sulfur, this product is an advanced black powder substitute engineered specifically for muzzleloading firearms.

Maximize your long-range precision and power your favorite large-caliber rifles with the American Pioneer FFg Premium Grade 1-lb Canister. Designed for shooters who demand exceptional consistency, velocity, and reliability, this loose FFg granulation propellant provides the ultimate flexibility for custom volumetric measuring in full-sized muzzleloading rifles, muskets, and shotguns.

Say goodbye to the heavy smoke, sulfur stinks, and punishing corrosion of traditional propellants. American Pioneer brings modern chemical engineering to your traditional shooting sports.

Optimized FFg (2F) Burn Rate and Applications

The FFg (2F) medium granulation features a controlled, progressive burn rate compared to finer pistol powders, making it exceptionally efficient for:

• Large-Caliber Rifles: Delivers smooth pressure curves and optimum velocity for 50-caliber and larger muzzleloading firearms.

• Muskets and Shotguns: Ensures complete, efficient combustion in larger-bore barrels for maximum energy transfer downrange.

• Custom Handloading: Allows you to precisely dial in your grain charges using standard volumetric powder measures.

Clean-Burning, Sulfurless Formula

Traditional black powders leave behind thick, highly corrosive fouling due to their sulfur content. American Pioneer utilizes an advanced sulfurless formulation that revolutionizes firearm maintenance:

• Non-Corrosive Protection: Protects your valuable barrel rifling and breech plugs from rust and pitting.

• Low Residue Build-Up: Drastically cuts down on barrel fouling, letting you shoot significantly more rounds between cleanings.

• Odorless Operation: Eliminates the heavy, pungent “rotten egg” smell associated with vintage propellants.

Effortless Water-Soluble Cleanup

Post-shoot maintenance requires zero harsh, toxic chemical solvents. Because American Pioneer is 100% water-soluble, cleanup is as simple as wiping the bore with a patch dampened with ordinary tap water. Dissolve the residue instantly and restore your firearm to pristine condition in minutes.
