Product Overview and Introduction

Experience exceptionally soft-shooting performance and ultimate clay-breaking consistency with Alliant Extra-Lite Smokeless Gun Powder. Specifically engineered for high-volume 12-gauge target reloaders, Extra-Lite delivers ultra-low felt recoil, clean combustion, and tight pattern densities that keep you comfortable and on target through multi-round tournament days.

Whether you are loading lightweight target shells for registered skeet, trap, or sporting clays, Alliant Extra-Lite provides the smooth pressure curves and reliable ignition required by shooters looking to minimize fatigue without sacrificing downrange performance.

Ultra-Low Recoil and Clean Combustion

Alliant Powder designed Extra-Lite using advanced propellant technology tailored explicitly for reduced-recoil target applications:

• Soft Recoil Profile: Formulated to generate significantly reduced felt recoil compared to standard target powders, minimizing shoulder fatigue during long days of high-volume shooting.

• Clean-Burning Formulation: Burns exceptionally clean, leaving minimal carbon residue or powder fouling in shotgun actions, chambers, and semi-automatic gas systems.

• Uniform Flake Geometry: Specially cut flat granules flow smoothly and consistently through volumetric powder measures, ensuring precise charge drops and tight velocity standard deviations (SD/ES).

• Optimized for 12-Gauge Target Loads: Perfectly tailored burn rate for lightweight 12-gauge payloads, delivering excellent pattern uniformity and reliable target breakage.

The Professional Choice for High-Volume Target Shooters

When comfort and consistency matter over hundreds of rounds, Extra-Lite stands out as an exceptional choice. Its balanced chemistry ensures that reduced recoil does not come at the cost of erratic velocities or poor patterning.
