Product Overview and Introduction

Add an authentic, honest-to-goodness piece of Balkan service history to your collection with the Zastava Model M83 .357 Magnum Revolver. Manufactured by the legendary Zastava Arms in Kragujevac, former Yugoslavia, the M83 was engineered to withstand the punishing operational demands of police forces and security agencies. This specific surplus offering comes in Fair Condition, featuring honest holster wear, character-building finish patina, and genuine factory wood grips—making it an ideal, budget-friendly shooter or a fascinating display piece for surplus collectors.

Chambered for the devastatingly powerful .357 Magnum cartridge while retaining full compatibility with affordable .38 Special ammunition, this heavy-duty, all-steel wheelgun is built to last multiple lifetimes.

Surplus Character and All-Steel Durability

While this revolver exhibits the cosmetic wear typical of service-issued firearms, its underlying mechanical strength remains uncompromised:

• Fair Surplus Condition: Expect exterior finish thinning, minor surface blemishes, or handling marks that tell the story of its working-class history in Eastern Europe. Mechanically sound and ready for the range.

• Robust All-Steel Frame & Cylinder: Forged from heavy-duty Yugoslavian steel, providing a reassuring weight that absorbs heavy .357 recoil effortlessly.

• Classic Factory Wood Grips: Outfitted with original checkered or smooth wood grips that offer an authentic look and a comfortable, hand-filling grasp.

• Versatile DA/SA Trigger: Operates in both double-action for rapid defense work and single-action for crisp, deliberate target shooting.

A Dependable Workhorse with Historic Pedigree

Zastava’s reputation for producing tank-tough firearms shines through in the M83. Whether you are looking for a reliable ranch gun, a truck companion, or an affordable gateway into .357 Magnum revolvers with real military surplus pedigree, this Zastava delivers unmatched value.
